First of all let me say hello to everyone on this forum as well as the maker of this awesome software Without it the world would be a much sadder place!
A friend of mine has the ELM327 interface and Multiecuscan. In our attempts to make my Idea's Selespeed shift smoother we wanted to run 'Production/Service final calibration'. We can only have it complete successfully with key in MAR. Notes and other info on the web mention that this operation should take a few minutes and consist of — among other operations — the gearbox going through all its gears. Unfortunately, in our case execution ends in about three seconds with message 'Successful' but no noises coming from the transmission and no change in shifting behaviour.
Has anyone managed to have this adjustment run on this gearbox? Could this be somehow related to ELM327's dislike for lower voltages and we might have more luck with VAG-COM 409?
Ps. Please note this post is not about clutch calibration!
Trouble running CFC208F final calibration
Re: Trouble running CFC208F final calibration
Update: run the calibration again, this time with the doors wide open and windows dropped. There in fact is a slight movement and noise when it is executed, so it seems this might be working. Perhaps the notes could be updated to say this procedure should take about five seconds and not five minutes!
