Hello

The CFC 228 is not read via the CAN bus protocol.
Therefore, it is not the problem a bridge resistance.

Your service is read via CAN Bus why this does not work
but very well be the connection to the instrument panel or Proxie Aligment
works I can not tell you.

On your board no bridge resistance is found

Mach nevertheless please times a screen of the interface test and add the one here

I think your problem is another, not a bridge resistance.

Hello everybody.
I have an Fiat Grande Punto 1.3JTD 75hp and I have a little problem by connecting to the ECU.
The car is currently not starting and the MIL indicator is on.
I bought from ebay ELM327 1.5 (with the rest of the adapters needed).
The computer is running on windows XP all drivers are installed but when I go to the Settings--->Interface--->Interface type: ELM 327 1.3+ (BaudRate 38400) and click test It goes to COMMAND ATSPC - The operation has timed out.
Meanwhile the cable is connected to the vehicle and the computer (12v are going to the vehicle OBD connector).
Software timeout:

Any ideas how to fix it ?

Exactly the same IF I have and exactly the same issue (and the same car).
I can set Interface type only manually .
AT USB commads are OK and the first AT OBD command fails.

I have all ready bought another Interface obviously WE HAVE TO ask is the chip ft232 inside etc.. Anyway it will be really nice if we can find out fix for this one. I have a feeling that we should "play" with drivers really not sure. I will try the commands manually to see what is happening.

I'm almost sure it's not a driver issue since AT commands work fine for the USB part.
I manually installed at least 5 different drives and the only one that make this ELM working is CH340.
I attempt this with several PCs too.
I tried to look at the PCB tracks to see if there is a resistor between two pins of the obd connector (or between the i/o pins of the IC) but this PCB is really too small for my eyes and my hands.
(I have already bought another Interface too)
