Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
I don't have "extended" on windows 10... But I found something in Properties / Port Settings / Advanced.
Here I have options for some Buffers.. Receive buffer from 1 to 14 and Transmit buffer from 1 to 16. No matter what I chose, not working.
P.S. Please send me link for good ELM327 from AliExpress, I'm losing my mind with this one.

Hello
It is now difficult to buy functioning ELM at Aliexpress
because it is now brannding another software on the PIC of ELM
And MES no longer works with the ELM.
Only when an older ELM can buy (2014) still work with the MES
I'm sending you a link

I do think my computer box needs these parts to make it fully functional. I have to reset my car's computer box to get some system functional.

Hi, I bought a bluetooth Vgate scan key but it doesn't work with mes. I removed the r27 resistor between 6-14 but MES says that isn't compatible. Any help?? Thanks!!

Hello
I own a stilo 1.9 JTD 8v 2003 and I have a check engine light so unfortunately I bought an ELM 327 mini bluetooth v. 2.1 because I didn't know they don't work with MES (it works with Torque and OBD doctor)
I tried to connect to MES and I get " The operation has timed out. Check your cable and serial port settings "
And then when I do a test i get:
COMMAND ATZ
RESPONSE ELM327 v2.1>
COMMAND ATI
RESPONSE ELM327 v2.1>
COMMAND ATE0
RESPONSE OK>
COMMAND ATL0
RESPONSE OK>
COMMAND ATH0
RESPONSE OK>
COMMAND ATSPC
The operation has timed out.
Should I throw this Interface to the bin, or is there anything else I can try ?
Any help would be much appreciated
Thank you
Here are the pictures in case I need to desolder something
ONLY PINS 1,2,3,4,5 and 9,10,11 are occupied ?

Hello Stilo
Did we many times here described
for the umpteenth time
v2.1 versions will not work with MES
since it also uses no matter what resistors to remove

Hi, I'm having some trouble with my ELM327 v1.4b. I was using it in Hyperterminal and I was able to connect to the ECU and obtain OBD information. I then tried using a program called Vagblocks (unsuccessful), and now the interface no longer works. When I use Hyperterminal I only get a reply saying "CAN ERROR" whenever I try to obtain any OBD information (The AT commands are responsive though). None of the AT reset commands solved this issue either.
Does anyone have any ideas? Does this sound like an issue that can be fixed by removing resistor 04?
Thanks!!!

Here's a couple of pics of my board. I'm pretty sure the r04 is in a different spot than the other one's I saw. Does the board look damaged?? I'm not too sure what to try next, so any ideas are appreciatedShotgun wrote:Hi, I'm having some trouble with my ELM327 v1.4b.
