Hello

The problem is not a bridge resistor
with this interface, you can not connect to your car ??
produced with MES
Since the software on the chip is not compatible with MES.

You need another interface

Is there a list of proven chips/layout or interefaces itself that are compatible with MES? I am still considering of buying one of cheaper solutions that could be modified. It's would be cheaper (6 -10 Euros) , while modified ELM cost ~26 EUros.
Does anyone has an ebay link of ELM interface that has been successfuly modified and works?

I have Chinese ELM 327 usb V1.5a and can't connect him to car in MES. I tried to remove R2 121 resistor (marked red on image) but nothing changed. Wires is for switch, ignore them.

Hello Pogano Celjade

Which driver you have installed?
Take this driver

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Have you asked the Latency Time to 1 ??
Which vehicle you want to read ??
The remote resistor has nothing to do with the general function.

It is only relevant for the CAN bus protocol

Thanks for reply Alfaeddy.
Driver is CH340, I can't install FTD driver.

How to change latency? I'm using Win 10.
I want to read the Alfa 147. But I can't even do a test in MES.

Hello Pogano

Code: Select all

How to change latency? I'm using Win 10.

Device Manager / Com Ports / USB serial port / properties / extended / Latency Time

drop down the value from 16 to 1 box set

Hello Adelscott

Unfortunately, I can not see why this error is displayed.

As should operate this function without error after your screen

Have you ever tried to draw the OBD connector and after a few Sec.
connect it again?
Then if the same fault has occurred?
