Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Dear all!
I have been playing with some types of interfaces and I have an other fix for one specific.
I've tried one BT with v1.5 sure it is a chinese one - did not worked on win10 since the BT stack has been changed.
Than I had a WiFi mini, did not worked without a mod.
Bought an USB one - still does not work.
It makes me a little bit... upset - to be gentle.
Than I read almost the whole thread and began to modify my WiFi adapter.
If your adapter looks like mine you can do it yourself. Only the proxy alignment does not work.
You have to remove the R3 resistor in the red circle at the top-middle.

Hello djakon999
Sorry for the late reply.
But unfortunately you can on your pictures poorly recognize which
Components are installed.
But this interface from my store should correspond to your interface
Greeting Eddy
Unfortunately, I can no longer put here pictures
I always get this message
"Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

Just to say you I removed the resistor, but I had the same problem: I can comunicate to Engine ECU only!
Why?
Aparty
Do please have a picture of the board
and again a screen from Interface Test
Greeting Eddy
Here a picture of the board where I removed the resistor.
The interface test as soon as possible
Well, I had this error "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." when I try to attach the picture. Why?

Well, I used Google Photo.
Can you see the picture here:

I removed the resistor (red circle in the picture) with no result.
What I have to do to use it?
Thanks!

Guys, I'm having trouble reading the modules other than power and exchange my Linea 1.9 16v Dualogic, I am Brazilian.
Reading almost all the pages of this forum, I found that should be removing the R04 resistor (121), it did, but still does not connect, already revised all possible configurations, and all is right, even put the last manufacturer of the drive.
The resistor removed that was hidden under the plastic cover that is the connector.
See the photo marked with red.
Outras fotos.
Realizing the connection tests and test interface that's OK.My ELM327 is the 1.5a version, that is written in it.

This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4? Should connect enquiry.c with all CAN modules.
Please someone help me?
Thank you so much.

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Hello , please I need help.
Is the reason for my ELM327 does not work, is the connection of these pins to the board ?
I have a Fiat Linea 2009 access normally engine and transmission , but the rest of the module does not . Already removed the R04 resistor (121 ) still does not.
Maybe one of the connector pins are not properly connected ?
To connect to other modules , I need the CAN connector last figure from left to right , is OK , right?
For example , pins 6 and 14 should be connected , but in the scanner connector , or car jack?
I await help.

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
pins 6 and 14 that reference the CAN protocol which is responsible for network communication will direct to pins 3 and 4 which were connected by R04 resistor (121 ) which was removed , but still can not connect in type modules airbag , the instrument panel , or parking sensor , finally ..
In " port settings " device in Windows there is the option to reduce latency, my ELM327 driver chip is the Silabs manufacturer and not FTDI with the rest of scanners, already tested with Windows XP , 7 and 8 and nothing works , not simply plugs into the cAN network, which I could do more? someone please help me .
