Just purchased a 09 159 TI with after market GPS head unit. Steering wheel controls are not working even with can bus adapter installed. I did a can bus check using the software and found this,
Receiver Radio/Radio Navigator Node (NRR/RMN): Not present
I am assuming that when the original system was removed the radio node was disabled via proxy alignment. Is there any way I can re enable it without the original radio.
I have removed the GPS unit and purchased another after market system with can bus input and ran proxy alignment but still can get the radio node enabled.
Anyone have similar issue or can someone give me some help. Thanks in advance.
