alexandertrask wrote:Hi szes30, I think that altough you made that pins modifcation, you cannot communicate with ECU due to the resistor issue that it has to remove in any case in my opinion. Your modification may resolve the problem of buying adapters cable to communicate to all ECU, but I remember you that in my case, after I bought the yellow cable, I cannot communicate till I removed the resistor. I hope to express myself thinking in simple words (sorry for poor english)
Hi alexandertrask、

Yes I understand what you want to say. :)

So I open the other ELM327 box. This time I found "121" resistor at
the top of the center. Is this the one to be removed from the board?

I bought it at Amazon Japan last month and I suppose it is China made.

Well... But did you try to connect this japan device and made a test? (if it reports all ok and can compatibility there is some good possibility), however did you modified pins configuration on this or the other "greek" device? About the resistor, considering that I made that modification without any electronics knowledge... I can't ensure you the final result... So I would firstly try a multiecuscan test with the "japan" device, if works I would retry to communicate with engine ECU (and I think it should works in any case as Yani said). After that if I don't know what kind of adapter cable it's necessary to communicate with Alfa 4C, I would wait to modify pin configuration, and I would contact multiecuscan team to ask for specific infos. Removing the resistor (i think it is the one you posted on photo) is the last chance in my opinion. ;)

Yes I have tried a multiecuscan test with Japan device and the result is OK.
And I also tried to connect engine ECU, it did worked!!! Also SCAN worked
and it detected ENGINE,TGEAR BOX and ABS.

I will remove "121" resistor tomorrow and try to connect BODY computer 8-)
Hopefully all works good, finger crossed!

OK, but without specific cable I think you won't be able to access BODY also with the resistor modification, in practice you will sure of that only when you use the right cable (unknown on Alfa 4C for now as it seems...), but I'm very curious about your news, it could be works. Finger crossed! Good luck man! :D

I have ordered the adapter cables, but still I have to wait couple of days.
So I modified ELM327 instead.

Yani wrote to me that it could work in the same way as with Giulietta.
But he didn't say that I can go to enable Cruise control....
I'm afraid that I will go further step than he said

Yes, SCAN worked and detected some nodes such as Body, Airbag and Dashboard.

But I could not connect with Body computer

I will send some data to Yani and wait for any measure to go farther.

Have a nice weekend to all. ;)

Yes, I finally activated a cruise control. :D

I could enable cruise control lever just like as Giulietta.

Now a indicator and message appear on dash board.
