Hello,
I try to connect Multiecuscan (and several other software) to a Chinese WiFi elm327 unit without luck. Connection to the adapter is ok via WiFi but it seems the adapter itself can't connect to the ECU. I've tried it with an Alfa 156 and it was feeding data to torque android easily. Do I need adapter cables to the Brera or what could be the problem?
The elm adapter I bought: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Smart-MI ... 06135.html
Thanks,
Csaba

Hello Csaba
This interface I do not know, you can not say anything more precise
But doing it out a screen from the test in the Settings / Interface
of Multiecuscan
I assume that this interface is not compatible with MES.
For the Brera you need only the green adapter for ABS and Xenon
All other controls should be directly read.

Thanks for the reply Eddy!
Meanwhile I was able to connect the interface to several subsystems but not to all.
Settings/interface test says the WiFi adapter is 1.4 and it should work with all of the connections.
I can connect to some of the elements (service interval, body computer for example) and the interface can retrieve information, read and erase trouble codes etc. But my problem is whenever I try to connect to the ECU an error message appears stating no connection could be made. Unfortunately I would need to work with the ECU because I need to run the oil change procedure to get rid of the dashboard message.
