Fiat Panda 2011 wiper arm trip button

Post by PandaPete »

Hi,
Background:
I have a Fiat Panda 1.2 active that has had a Dynamic speedo / rev counter dash unit fitted (instead of the none-rev counter supplied as standard). The switch to toggle the trip / odometer / etc. unit is normally on the end of the wiper arm, but mine doesn't have it.

I know that MultiECUscan can read back a button press via "System - Dashboard", "Control Module - Instrument Panel Marelli (Base)", "Connect", "F4 - Parameters", "Trip Counter Button"... but I don't have a button to press.

Question:
Is it possible to include the Trip button in F6 - Actuators, to use the software to press the button, then leave it on that function forever? (or is it already included somewhere that I haven't found yet). OR is there any other software that I could perform this function with?

Any help would be very welcome

PandaPete

Update:
Does anyone know the raw data necessary to 'press' this button electronically via the CAN bus / OBD?
