Injection timing

Post by Micke »

Hello. I have the following question. What does parameter Injection timing ? Whether it should be 0 degrees? I it varies from 0.5 to 2.8 degrees. Auto Bravo 07 1,4 Turbo 16V. Thanks!

Easy, is equivalent to the ignition timing (spark advance) in Otto engines. Have to vary yes, but not much. I do not know the limits but if the engine works well, okay ...

i have a 1994 triton diesel with a 4D56 engine, correct injection timing is 7 degrees atdc. i checked it with a pulse adapter and got 7-10 degrees btdc, what should the timing be or how much of an advanced reading do you get when using the pulse method, thanks.
