I don't tested with multiecuscan. This is reported by zafron in earlier post:
This is what I get when test the interface. I bought it as elm 1.5 but it seems that is 2.1!

My friend, if you do not test your interface will never know if your interface is defective or not ...

I used torque this weekend on 2 fiat auto. A fiat punto 1.9 jtd and an alfa 156 jtd mjet. On both car my 2 scanner was not able to connect to ecu. I tried with another scanner and on these car was able to connect, then that my scanners are bad is certain! The above cars are not in my possession, and now I can not try again. I have a kia rio on which this scanner works and until Friday, i will not try with any fiat car. Zafron had the exact same scanner, with the exact same problem, so I reported his results. This weekend I will try on the alfa 159 of my brother, so as to see what comes out, but i suppose the same results of Zafron!

Surely saturday i will test also with multiecuscan on the alfa 159 of my brother, but i already imagine the outcome. If on the 156 and fiat punto jtd mine doesn't work and that of my brother in law yes (it have a mini version like this: http://www.iobd2.org/wp-content/uploads ... 9032_a.jpg) there is not much to hope for! As soon as I can test, i will report the outcome of multiecuscan.

Frankly I really hope that you're right !!!

Greetings,

I have a mini elm 327 that I am having issues with. I can connect it to my girlfriend's 2006 Ford Taurus just fine but when I try to connect it to my 1996 Chevy Blazer LS it is giving.. "cannot connect to ECU". I have tried every piece of software you could imagine. Does anyone have any ideas? I have started reading this thread but there is a lot of information in here. Was just wondering if anyone knew exactly how to fix one of these devices. Thanks!

Hello Vandiar

This is about Multiecuscan for Italian cars

But the '06 Ford Taurus has certainly OBD2 and must therefore be read with this interface

The Chevy '96 is certainly no OBD2 and therefore requires a special / proprietary software, and also to read interface

Good evening, Alfaeddy,

I am trying to connect to Palio 2004 Gasoline with IAW 4SF-PC injection module (Engine) using 3 pin connector and ELM 327 Bluetooth.

The system turned down to comunicate wit the Engine module even the connection test reported comunication Ok (with some error).

MY interface is this mentioned below:

As you can see, I removed the resistor r27 used to terminate the can bus line as recomended.

Below the comunication picture (see some AT commands with problems)

Even doing this I am facing problems to connect to ECU.

Thanks for the good job for helping people.
