ELM 327 1.3+ Latency Too High

Hi when trying to connect to my MK2 2001 Fiat Punto I get the following message

No problem, just change the setting of the port to 38400 and must connect even with high latency.

Just changed the settings to this

But still getting the same error and it wont connect.

Any other ideas why is this happening?

Please can you tell us the following:

1) Fiat Punto Type Number & Chassis number (this will tell use the correct year of manufacture and definitively identify your car)
