Stilo jtd hood error

Post by twone21 »

Hi there, I'm Fernando from Portugal.

I have a 2002 stilo jtd, I bought the cables and the MES to configure the remote control to the car, and to find a foulty airbag, it was perfect for that job.
A few days ago I connect the elm to disable the lights wen locking the car, wille doing that the battery drain out and and all lights in the dashboard starting to flash...
Now i have an error all the time "hood open" or "capô aberto" in Portuguese.
What can I do to disable that?
My car doesn't have a shitch on the hood lock or anything to tell the BCP that the hood is open or closed.

Best regards, Fernando.

well, in a few minutes i just figure it out,

I have found this under the hood:

and by reading the electric scheme on fiat stilo elearn i found the it was not part of the wood shitch, but it did not convence me at all, with a ohmeter i foud that it was a can circuit.
then i found a 120ohm resistor:
