Hello,
I try to solve my problem. I have Alfa Romeo 159 and I would like to connect to airbags via my ELM327 BT interface. Connection to engine is working well. I spent here some hours, so my question is: Shall I remove resistor 121 after making 2 parts from one interface? I think, that there is a Picture of similar interface here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1493&hilit=bluetooth&start=1280
I attach some pictures of my interface, but it's almost nothing to see...

The bridgeresistor sits on the lower PCB
and is designated R2.
Your boards are soldered together but unfortunately
therefore you get very difficult at this resistor
With some skillful of bridgeresistor has to be removed anyway, even without the boards to separate
I have this already made this mini ELM

Opening the is comparatively easy
simply press lightly with a sharp knife into the space around the casing of an other to solve
In part, the glued
others are just clipped
and immediately go apart

Wow, now that's a violent opening
The components on the board are very difficult to detect
unfavorable angle
But the R2 should be the bridge resistance
There are in this thread several times already this ELM Interface

Hello Herpez
The two boards are soldered correctly
If you are careful you can break out the resistor with a stable needle. But beware that the interconnects do not break.
You can also with a desoldering pump desoldering the solder joints and separate the two boards.
Remove resistor and solder the boards again
