I need to read fault codes from my Punto 1.6 cabrio which has a GM ECU.
No program can connect to those old ECU's of GM or Punto GT's (Bosch ECU) or older cars but the original FIAT Examiner equipment.
I managed to find the old software which worked originally on WIN95.
I've installed it on a virtual machine and it runs ok.
I don't know if it actually works since the original hardware called VCI port.
Is there a way somehow connect a 3pin connector to USB since it's installed on a laptop or the program originally was not designed to use USB and it's something with programming and not modify the COM's?
Fiat Examiner will work with USB?

Re: Fiat Examiner will work with USB?
Hi,
I do not think it is possible.
Examiner software was installed on special devices.
Those devices have been actually interfaces just like we have KKL and ELM today...
You can try and let us know. Any information is good.
