Connection failed service reset

Post by BUTEAU »

Hello, I am French and new on the forum.
I will explain my problem:
On my alfa 147 1.6 TS 105, I did a service reset and a change of the mileage interval under MES registered 2.0 and an ELM 327 V1.3 interface.
Wanting to return to the service reset module a few weeks later, it appears on the screen “ connection failed, verify your connection or com port “ so that I can connect to other modules ! Meanwhile I did an update to MES 2.1, thinking that there may be a bug with version 2.1, I went back to MES 2.0 and still no possibility to connect to service reset module
On my other Alfa 159 2.2 JTS I can connect without problem to the service reset module. If anyone has an explanation and can help me to solve this problem, it would be very appreciated ;)

Hello,

Nobody can help me ?
Is it the latency time that need to change, or other settings? When I do the test of the interface, all controls are ok and I should be able to connect to all modules. Is it the ECU which does not answer ? I don’t understand, it is not logical :x
All advices, comments would be appreciated

Many thanks.

hello

This is a strange error because the service in the instrument panel is integrated
and this is read at two (147 +159) via CAN bus.
Can my opinion also not be due to the control or Cable connection there.

I would even try the baud rate to change something if it makes dan a difference.

But this is only advised in the blue :)

Maybe try sometimes with a different interface.
Could be that the signals are not transmitted completely clean.

Hello alfa 156sarajevo,

thanks for your answer,
Really strange, I'll try soon to connect again on the service reset module. I connected two times with MES 2.0 before switching to the version MES 2.1, trying to connect again with MES 2.1, Unable to connect to the service reset. Have you tried to connect you to the service reset with MES 2.1 ?
Fyi, it's an ALFA 147 1.6 TS 105 YEAR 2001

Greetings David
