Hi there

Of course it's easier if your interface is found.
But you can manually adjust it.

- Plug Interface
- Installing drivers
- Enter interface in MES
- Set Comport in MES
- Set Latency Time in Setting Control

OK, easier BUT, should be absolutely necessary for some chinese interfaces??? I have used ELM327 about 1 year, but don't get connection with that VAG, not even recognition in Scan For Interfaces.

I´ll continue trying...

Hello Waltomatic

Which VAG connection you want to establish?
I have problems to understand the translation.

For an ELM interface is no interface VAG

@ elpesao

Sorry, but this is about the software "Multiecuscan" for Italian cars
which vehicle you want to read?

You can not use any software and any interface
all possible controls to read.

Please do something more detailed information.

@Alfaeddy

I has used ELM327 since july/13 for connect my (and some friends) Marea 2.4 (ME3.1 and Aisin Warner AT), Palio IAW 4AF (my son) and others cars successfully. Recently I bought a chinese VAG KKL 409.1 (CH340 chipset) and didn't connect any modules (in Marea, with 3-pin), yet.

In my 2 PCs (Windows XP) the interface is properly installed:
1. Garage - interface not found by MES
2. Home
2.1. interface found like VagCom/KKL on COM3 (but, curious, installed in COM6 at Device Manager)
2.2. Interface test results:
VagCom/KKL

Testing latency with 200 bytes of data...
Min latency: 9
Max latency: 12

Testing timers...
(The acceptable tolerance for results is ~5 ms)

System supports high resolution timer.

Testing timer with 1000 ms...
..result: 1000 ms

Testing timer with 250 ms...
..result: 314 ms

Testing timer with 750 ms...
..result: 965 ms

Testing timer with 100 ms...
..result: 127 ms

I think to check the pinout resistences (comparing with ELM) and/or try connect to Palio (16-pin directly)...

TANK YOU!

Hi Waltomatic

What does ???? "resistences"
I can not translate it. ?

After your values from the test
you have the Latency Time of Com ports not set to 1?

If it does
then put a tick in the box "high latency mode" lower right side

oh, only this... resistAnce (in ohms) between each pin pairs on connector (correct?)

My interface only enable this adjust (just setted to 1 and FIFO buffers checked)...

About "high latency mode" just tried both modes.

But I´ll continue trying (Brazilians never renounce...) hehehe

Hello Waltomatic

Resistance = "Resistor" in English. or "Widerstand" in German

You make me confused, once you write the ELM Interface
then again from a KKL interface

Your test picture is of a KKL interface (VAG) and you have the slider shift left, but not at 14 to 1

I think you are using the ScanOBD in the picture, but have in the MES Interface VAG set. !

This is wrong

For the interface in your image, you must cease an ELM327 Bluetooth.

[ But resistor is not a component that causes a resistance when submitted a voltage? In portuguese is the same... resistor X resistência ]

[ see... I use a USB ELM without issue for 1 year, but now I´m trying to use this new Vag ]

[ only example... my set up is 1 ]

[ ScanOBD??????? , I dont understand now ]

This is wrong

For the interface in your image, you must cease an ELM327 Bluetooth.
[ this image is only as example, but identical the mine, for VagCom/KKL ]
