AT ALL... SUCCESS FOR US!JonnhyK wrote:1) if 3-PIN adaptor links just to the disconnected GROUND PIN on KKL... will be!! EVEN with the ground jack?Waltomatic wrote:1) Will be? My Marea uses 3-pin.
2) I dont know, but everything is possible...
3) ...
4) [ops... mojoity = majority] so, MES and AlfaOBD only refers to 3-Pin for ML4.1. Maybe not supported in these softwares...
2) I've tried just now with ALFAOBD... NOTHING!!!! and other pins with M.E.S. works perfectly! now I dismount the ML4.1 and I check cable! The pin of K line is on the SERVICE MANUAL OF GTV/SPIDER (1700 pages )
3)
4) MES has EVEN THE 98' version listed in car's list! and 98' M.Y. have ALL the 16 PINS OBD. I think strange: ALL ML4.1 in http://multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx uses 3-pin, but...
However the ECU is the SAME IDENTICAL, only connector change on II series GTV/spider

Re: ALFA GTV 2L V6 TURBO
I HAVE SOME NEWS:
I'VE CONNECTED MY CAR TWO HOURS AGO
FIRST OF ALL
I'VE SAID AN ENORMOUS BULLSHIT
SO I START THE EXPLANATION:
1) IS TRUE that PIN 7 ON GTV/SPIDER from 1998 (II series) is linked to the K-line (pin 12) of the Bosch ML 4.1 and also to the FIAT CODE unit... BUT:
THE LINK TO THE FIAT CODE IS IN INPUT!!!! xD
THE OUTPUT OF THE FIAT CODE IS ON PIN 8 OF THE OBD CONNECTOR!
2) THE PIN 4 OF THE BOSCH ML4.1 (THE L-LINE!!!) IS LINKED... ONLY on 3PIN FIAT CONNECTOR...
Yes... also on the II series m.y. 1998.
well.
(the 3pin fiat is obviously linked also on the K-line)
I've DISMOUNTED HALF OF MY CAR!
THE DAMNED THREE -PIN CONNECTOR WAS BURIED UNDER THE INSULATED COATING!

4) NO. Absolutely!
Models 2000 v6 tb until 05/1998 are with 3pin connectors, one of that is near the Bosch ML 4.1 on the left of passenger seat.
from 06/1998 started the II series production, thats has the 16 pin OBDII female on the left of the steering, inside the fuses box.
Through this interface in the II series like mine, ON PIN 7 there is K line for engine, ON PIN 1/9 there is CLIMATE CONTROL AND ABS, and on PIN 3 you can access to TRW AIRBAG MODULE.
Spyder versions have also a module for electric roof, but I don't know where it communicates...

on the OBD 16 PIN THERE ISN'T THE L-LINE but probably I WILL MODIFY IT SOON!!!!
But... if my FIAT 3-PIN connector was buried under coating...
HOW MANY OTHERS HAVE NOT FOUND IT ON THEIR GTV/SPIDER II SERIES????
