Hello AlfaEddy. could you please help me?

I have exactly the same ELM327 as user ``Aulecuver80`` from page ``103`` of this topic. And I have already removed the 1200 resistor.

But the problem is still there, I can read everything from Engine, but I cannot reset the service interval.

The interface is using the latest Prolific Usb to COM Adapter Driver.

Should I use the FTDI one?

Car is Punto Intern 1.6 16v IAW 7GF Injection.

Thank you very much!

Hello

After removing the resistor you should contact the service, read Body, Dashboard, etc. can.

Have you checked all the settings?
Which driver do you use?

Just try this

I'm using the Prolific "USB -> Com" Driver.

It connects normally with engine, but service is not getting connection. Should I try with FTDI Drivers?

What are the best settings of the driver speed? 38000? 9600?

All the tests are giving OK at the program.

Hello

Try it out the FTDI drivers?!
Maybe it's all better,

The connection should be at 38400 baud
for the ELM

HI Eddy.

Driver update to FTDI helped a bit.
I managed to connect to service interval reset and it all worked out,
but now when I try to connect to it again it fails to connect.
Also strange thing is that now on scanning modules I can see only engine,
I can't see any other module that I used to see before on CAN line,
like instrument panel, body...

I guess there is something faulty with my interface, maybe some connection,
I'll have to inspect it.
Also ECU scan now shows that interface is capable to connect to all modules
but I see only engine in scanning.

Hello isyk

Try it again another Com port
I once heard from a friend that this was the solution to the problems connecting with Him

Otherwise, you should test it once with another ELM Interface

Hi Alfaeddy,

I bougth a wifi ELM327 and remove the resistor that you mentioned marked in the picture.
However I take the same error:

Wifi connected to 192.168.0.10:3500 OK
but than "Interface not found"

Are there anything to do for this interface?

Thank you..

Hello celenlee

First off, your remote Resistor has formed a bridge at pin 6 & 7 of MCP2551?
Not einface remove a resistor if you do not know what this is. !

Then another, what car / control you want to read?
Because the resistor prevents only the CAN bus or not combined!
No other logs

And even if you can not make a test interface, this is due to your wifi
Connection and not your vehicle connection

1- The 121 Ohm resistor formed a bridge between pin 6&7 of MCP2551 (Pin 6-14 of OBD), and I removed this.

2- I want to use this interface on Grande Punto. (Engine ECU and Selespeed ECU)

When I look at the board I do not see the 100Ohm Resistor+ 560pF cap. ?
Is it true to add these missing parts to use on Grande Punto?
