Re: Grande Punto Cruise control aftermarket
This is so called "clock spring cable", but here it's integrated with the stalk unit. In my case this cable was the reason to start the CC project. I lost left buttons first, then right buttons and finally the Airbag. The cable was broken apart and no repairable. The CC stalk unit is only 15-20Eur more expensive than the normal stalk.

Does anyone still has the guide from puntomag.fr, because the site isn't online anymore. I can't figure out how to connect the 41 pin.

Thnx for the link, but when it comes to the detailed connection of the cable it also reffers to puntomag.fr. I don't understand which cable I should link. Is it the 41th cable from behind the obd connection (h) to one of the eight cables coming from the new stalk (which one of the eight)?regi54 wrote:Hello,

In my case there was not cable on pin 41. I had to make a new cable link. And yes the conector is on the rear side of the body.

But can you tell me from where to where this cable goes. What do you connect the cable behind nr 41 withdimitar_ak wrote:In my case there was not cable on pin 41. I had to make a new cable link. And yes the conector is on the rear side of the body.

Hello every body, My grande punto 1.3 mjt 75 dynamic, N° ZFA19900001559460 manufactured (info from EPER) Data prod.: 28/8/2009 was already with cable between pin 41 and pin 8.
I changed the "commodo" with a new one with the cruise control, lever I activated with multiecuscan 2.1. Every thing works : green led, + message on OBD "cruise control on/off" but no action on speed!!!
I checked with multiecuscan the clutch, two brake signals and the action on lever everything is working, but impossible to memorise a speed (I use carefully the lever on/off + action on cruise + some seconds).
Could you please give some ideas/ experience
Thank you in advance

Re: Grande Punto Cruise control aftermarket
Hello, I thought a lot on my issue and perhaps I have an idea. The 1.3 mjet can be equipped of different tyre size: 175/65R15 or 185/65R15. One year ago I installed 185/65R15 on the rear and I still have 175/65R15 on the front, the difference in perimeter represents +2.1 % for 185.
I think that the ECU receiving as an info a different speed coming from front & rear wheel it refuses to stabilize the speed.
What do you think?
Nevertheless I will be fixed on 10th of October because I will install 185/65R15 on the front.
I will keep you posted.
Brgds
