Hi Yani,
I think many users would like to be able to delete/re-enable the DPF from the ecu using multiecuscan.
thanks

Re: DPF delete Brera 2.4
Friend i am not yani but i think this be big strugggle as there is so many factors to dpf deletion i.e. software versions, ecu hardware versions etc.. and plus he would have to implement so many map files and make tool easy for flashing ecus, i.e. edc16 etc...

For ANYBODY in the UK with a UK registered vehicle please do NOT get your DPF filter remove and mapped out. Since February 2014 the UK MOT test will/should fail any car which originally had a DPF filter system fitted which is no longer present.
And before anybody jumps on my back about how do they know? ... there are ways around this ..... etc. then please accept this post as a WARNING. There may still be companies out there will to remove/map out DPFs at your risk but they may not tell you that you risk failing and MOT, and if your DPF has been binned then you will have a very expensive bill on your hands. i.e. replacement DPF and yet another remap!

friend yes it is becoming part off the new mot! There is loop holes in this system, i do dpf removals and there is no physical/LEGAL way that an MOT tester can tell if you have had a dpf removal done aslong as your dpf filter casing (exhaust) is still in place, aslong as your PPM meets smoke test spec then your car WILL pass mot, not jumping on your back just letting you know there is no LEGAL way an mot tester can tell if your filter is in or out of your dpf casing as they are not legally allowed to drill or remove to physically see your dpf/faps130 wrote:For ANYBODY in the UK with a UK registered vehicle please do NOT get your DPF filter remove and mapped out. You are currently quite correct about the current ability/inability of a tester to determine DPF status. I eluded to this in my original post. This inability/difficulty will no doubt be looked at by VOSA as I know this is an issue that has been raised by MOT testers/stations. One easy way to this is to dramatically tighten the smoke test. But to do this VOSA will have to be provided with vehicle/chassis/dpf data by the manufacturers. Who knows how this will develop over time? The import point/warning I made must be considered by all thinking of having their filters removed.
