Just bought a license, Airbag ok, Engine unable to detect

Car : Alfa Romeo GTV Phase 2 V6 2.0 TB
Cable : ODB2 TO USB.
PC : Win 7 x64

resetting the Airbag light worked without any problem

but i am not able to connect to the ECU of the engine... , when i scan i get no results.

i alreay tried setting the latency to 1 on the com port but no difference.

what is going wrong ?

I can also connect to the Climate control and ABS, its just the Engine that does not want to connect

What happens when you set up your interface on pin 7 (KKL/ engine) and click on Scan (F11) button?
Does the system find some kind of engine ECU?

it finds no ECU,

it just Scans and says OK at the end.

i already checked the interface cable and soldered an extra wire from Pin7 to make sure it has a good connection.

So probably your engine ECU is not supported yet...
