Hello.
Yes, I can connect to Motor ECU and nothing else. ELM not have resistor between pin 6 and pin 14. In what could be problem?

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
So Eddy and Others! Listen! You will read an interesting and crazy story about my ELM adapters.
I start the story from the beginnings..
I ordered a VAG 409 cable, It had a soldering problems inside, i correct those, and now it works propeprly on my laptop, and my car Punto II. I can read the Engine, ABS, Airbag modules!
But for the Dash and Body I need an ELM327. I ordered a blue-orange 10$ chineese interface. With this I only could connect to the Engine. So I removed 'R04' 121 resistor. But my problem doesn't solved.. This was the red PCB above the forum.
I ordered a new blue-orange chineese 10$ ELM. It's a little bit newer, it has got SMD LEDs. I tested, only the Engine reachable.. OK no problem, I removed the resistor. But still no Dash, Body, etc.. I started to change the drivers, USB settings, and everything. It took hours from my life.. But ZERO progression!! At this point I started to go crazy.. I really had no idea at all!!
Then hours later I installed the ELM and MES on my Mother's notebook. I went to the car and gave 0,0000001% chance that will be OK.
BUT HOLY F***ING S**T THIS WORKED!!! I COULD CONNECT ALL OF THE MODULES!!!
So both of my ELM is works. Something wrong with my own notebook. I don't know what. I think that only a WIN7 reinstall can helps..
That's brutale, isn't it? On my PC the VAG Cable read everything, ELM only the engine!! On another notebook every module can readable!! Why???
I hope it was an instructive story!

Hello vmaci
Which vehicle would you like to read?
If only the CAN bus protocols the problem?
Can not read at all CAN Bus controllers?
If no resistor (120 ohms) is between Pin 6 + 14
then either the interface is faulty or the controller in the vehicle
on which you can not get a connection!
Unfortunately, you have photographed only the back of the board
Why do the picture if no bridge resistor is present. ?
Greetings Eddy

Hello Gatter
Yes your post is very informative
I know the problem already
So I ask, depending on the question whether the interface (COM port)
is recognized in the Windows Control Panel without error.
The problem: In some laptops is a usb chip from an American manufacturer
installed, unfortunately I forgot the name
And for this usb chip, a special driver is needed.
Greetings Eddy

All of my USB driver is installed. In the device manager everything is OK. Haven't got any "(!)" near the hardware.

Hello Vmaci!
Same PCB is on the page 104 than yours! The resistor is on the other side, under the white connector 'R04' 121. You only had needed to read back a few pages..

I have Fiat Doblo 1.9 Mjet Cargo 223
Yes, can not read all CAN controllers
Sorry, I forgot upload pic. Here is my photo
Are You mean with switch for engine, airbag, ABS? I bought this Vag COM too, and do not work. Hello Gatter
Is also just a guess
and if you still have problems with denem laptop
you can sometimes try this driver.

Hello vmaci
Look at the white plug housing should be removable.
Among them the bridge resistor can be located
This image is not your board but you can see at which
Point, you should look
Greetings Eddy
Edit :
This ELM board we had a lot of times in this thread
