Hi,
When should I use the self adaption reset on Doblo 1.3 multi jet 2008 45,000 miles.
My understanding of it is that it re-adjusts tolerances after wear.
Can the use of this be dangerous.
Perhaps you could explain its function.
Thanks

Re: Self adaption reset
In general you can not do anything bad to ECU. By clicking on it you are resetting the parameters and that is all.
After clicking the reset button it is recommended to drive car for about 10km.
You should drive it few km very slowly, and than few km very fast and than few km in medium drive.
I use it rarely and only to petrol cars...

Basically you should use it after you have problems with a lambda probe or injectors (or LPG setup) which caused a mis-adjustment of AFR. Another option is when you have replaced the ECU with a used one. In normal conditions there is no need to ever use it.
