I'm back after first tests of Multiecuscan 1.7 ----EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECT !!!!! and without any communications problems between my car and notebook!
so I recommend to all of you not to use Fiatecuscan -use newest Multiecuscan !!!
my tests contidions and equipment:
Windows 7 Home Premium ,Prolific Driver for USB to COM port ver.3.4.62.293 (2013-10-17) ,ELM 327 v 1.4 interface (chinese fake for 15 USD ,with removed 101 Ohm resistor between 6 and 14 pin of ODB-II connector), Lancia Delta III 1.6 MJET 2009 y. with CAN interface.

only ABS and Steering system requires more 2 cable adaptors to complete all tests for my car ,but i don't need it for now.

enjoy new software -many thanks for all help from people of this forum !!!!
regards from Poland!!!

Hello. I have this ELM327 Image

I'm trying to use it in a Fiat Punto (Brasilian) 1.8 8v 2008, but when I connect the MultiEcuScan with the car, only the Injection Module (Delphi HSFI/MT27E) is Detected by MultiEcuScan (I Using the Punto 1.8 8v Intern in MultiEcuScan).

I tried to remove the resistor with value 121 of it, but not have a success (in this mode, not detect all modules), and now I put the resistor again..

I have a question: The problem is in the MultiEcuScan software (not compatible with my car), or in the ELM327?

My query is because it detected the Delphi module of injection. This topic is for "FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES", but my interface need to be modified to detect the others modules, or not?

The fact that he detected the module injection means it does not need to be modified?

If it needs to be modified, have any suggestions?

If it is not possible to repair, you know any model ELM327 compatible with this vehicle?

Note: If you need, sending photos of my elm327 motherboard.

Hello

The motor controller can be read with all ELMs.
But you can also setup the CAN or dashboard or service read??

As on the board, there is not only a resistor (121)
some V1.5 Elms also have no bridge resistance

In this thread, your interface has also been treated
In the first pages you should find it.

I read the oher topics, and my board is different of the others.

This is one image of the board of my interface:
download/file.php?id=970

I removed the resistor R4 with no results, now I put it back on the board..

After of it, I removed the resistor R2 (with value printed 121, marked red in this picture download/file.php?id=971), with no other result, only the Injection Module Detected..

Have a suggestion with this board? Because I'm losing hope this interface work.

If you not have further suggestion for this board, suggests some other model of ELM327 (with low price) to use the 2008 Fiat Punto 1.8 8v?

I will use with MultiEcuScan, so I prefer a USB interface ..

Thanks ..

Hello

As you have correctly identified, which was removed from R4 wrong

Resistor R2 is to be removed

Do something, even a test of the signals under

MES / Settings / Interfaces / Test
And put the result here

Otherwise, I would also tap a setting error
or your interface was while desoldering and soldering of R4 destroyed!

These ELM no bridge resistor is installed!
But probably a bit far to Brazil

Hello vmaci
Just as with the response from Scarab is your connection error also
not at the bridge resistor (120 ohms)
I suspect that your driver is not the correct driver.

Otherwise, it can only be connected to setting errors.

Your problem is not the resistor
