I cannot get Multiecuscan to connect to my ABS or main ECU's somehow.
Cables I have are
VAG OBD2 409.1 KKL USB
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAG-OBD2-II-4 ... 1151289990
Fiat 3-16 pin adapter
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Alfa-Lancia-3-1 ... 1177924594
The multiecuscan interface test detects that VAG inteface is connected and performing within spec, latency timer set to 1, various baud rates tried, no success with anything
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello
Coupe which you have exactly?
But I think if your Multiecuscan controllers supported
can be the only setting error
or you installed the wrong driver

I got the drivers on a CD with the cable. If multiecuscan interface test shows that the VAG inteface is connected and performing within spec, then does this not prove that the drivers are correct?or you installed the wrong driver

Hello NZcoupe20VT
So your coupe has the M2.10.4 Motoronic!
For this control, you need the registered version
But the ABS and airbag you can also use the free version of MES.
Since the supplied drivers are often completely out of date at this interface.
Try it once with the FTDI driver from my link?

Re: Fiat Coupe 20VT not connecting
I managed to get some signs of life from the engine ECU (altho as you say, free version will not stay connected), so I guess that proves that my cables and drivers are working now... Nothing from ABS ECU though. I wonder if the ABS ECU is broken - dash light is on constantly
Re: Fiat Coupe 20VT not connecting
Hello NZcoupe20VT
So, but the fault lies in the settings or the drivers for the interface
With the free version should indeed established a connection to your ECU
can be, but should read the latest version of the free parameters
show that this is possible only with the registered version.
So the basic data of the ECU, such as programming and date of programing should be read with the free version
