Hi!
I have just bought Alfa Romeo 1.9 JTD 8V 85kW, year 06/2005, and on infocenter display in services menu says "Scheduled service expired". I followed some procedures for resseting this by simultanious pressing - and + buttons for about 10 seconds...but no luck. Can this be reset with Multiecuscan and how?
When I connect to engine ECU with Multiecuscan, there is no any information about odometar on ECU; it shows 0 km. Can this indicate that somebody was lovering kilometers on ECU and speedo?
Thnx.

Re: Infocenter service expired reset and no odo informations
Hello shreliac
You probably have an Alfa 156??
Did you first + or - until "Maintenance Information"
Then press + and - for 10 sec then it should be returned to the service display
With Multiecuscan you can not put 156 on the back
Greetings Eddy

Yep! Eddy is right! With MES you cannot reset service interval on Alfa Romeo 156.
It can be only done manually...

Re: Infocenter service expired reset and no odo informations
Hi!
Yes, I have alfa 156 SW, sorry I forgot to mention that. I allready try to do this with + and - but no luck. Procedure what I did was: put key on MAR position, with + or - scroll down to service menu, then enter INFO for enter into service menu, and than on infocenter displays "Scheduled service expired". Then I pressed + and - simultaneously and hold both buttons for 10 seconds...but no any change. I tried with warious times (from 5 seconds to 30) but stll no luck.
Did I something do wrong?
Thanks,
S.

Re: Infocenter service expired reset and no odo informations
Hi Shreliac
No, I can not detect errors in your approach
Why this does not work I can offer you not say
Maybe I would again disconnect the battery (about 1 hour)
and then try again
If this helps I can not say, but it's worth an experiment
Greetings Eddy

HI,
I allready try that with disconnecting battery; yesterday I was doing some stuff on clutch so I have to remove battery. Car was without battery more than 1 hour...and still no luck with resetting service message
