My laptop hp nx9010 p4 2.6g using the vag-com has set up usb port com 3 and
The led on cable plug lights up: pin 7 on the 16 pin car diagnostic socket is
Populated so has pin 7 on the 16 pin plug, when I try to connect after selecting
The vehicle the software message connecting comes up for around 10 seconds
And message bottom left says disconnected. Any help would be gratefully received.

first:
you should install on you laptop Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0
link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
second:
you should install FTDI drivers version 2.06.00
link:
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
third:
you should open http://www.multiecuscan.net/HowToUse.aspx and follow the instructions
P.S. don't forget to restart your computer after installation of different drivers!
