Hi. I just bought this pice of crap. I have a Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD from 2002. When i connect the elm 327 (at least so it wrights on the case) i get LOOSE CONNECTION on the computer board..and the lights are going on..i can connect to the ENGINE and there on the errors tab i can see that it says the interface don't comunicate on the CAN -bus..i opend then the interface to remove the R04 resistor and surprise..the resistor is alreadey removed... :?: ...so what can i do to connect to service..somethings is wrong but what?..it shouldn't say LOOSE CONNECTION when i plug the interface...pffff...i'm so upset..

Hello
If you can read your ECU is not a setting error

Your problem concerns not only the CAN bus?? right?

Can it be that when removing the resistance to soldering there is a direct connection?
So the contacts are not isolated?

Otherwise, your interface will be broken. Sorry

wohoooooooo...i went back to my car...very pissed off...and the interface worked...hmmm..how?...well..this is what i found out..i started my engine..then i plugged the interface FIRST to the laptop..the red light went on on the interface..then i plugged it into the car socket...SURPRISE...no connection error anymore...then i could connect to the body service etc..i reset my service...i programmed the lights to go on when i locked the car...pff...finally...but now i cannot connect to the ENGINE anymore..dosen't matter because i got another interface for that ( VAG KKL )...then i tried one more time to first connect the interface to the car socket and then the laptop..but when i plugged it in LOOSE CONNECTION went on...so i don't know the explanation for this but if i connect it first to the laptop is all ok...thanx Alfaeddy for your fast reply

Hello

Well it is now temporarily
I suspect in your different tests it every time another set Com port. :)

If you get the first interface in the OBD connector, the interface from the vehicle 12 Volt
But first, do you associate with the laptop, the interface only 5 volts from the PC
thus it can be recognized and applied differently to different port.

And you must have no connection

Tip: If no connection is made to check the settings!

Bitte entschuldigen Sie mein deutsch :)

Hallo

Hello,

I have the same E327, as Master200.

The resistance R04 was not there. I bought it new.

Do I now get solder another resistor or does it now?

I have a Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 Year 2006

Thanks in advance

Hello

Another change is not necessary
This should connect to the ECU, ABS and steering can be made

For all other controls you need the yellow adapter A3
