Hello Robert

For IAW ECU Scan you need a KKL interface
With the ELM interface you have no luck

I do not know your board and images are not to follow the tracks safely.

I also have a mini-ELM but the board looks different
I guess it's in the right image vorletzem resistor (121) but that would need to consider whether this is directly connected to pin 6 + 7 from the chip MCP2551 has

Greetings Eddy
I will try to come back with better pictures, those were taken with my phone so no wonder they are crappy.

Hello Robert

Is it safe only with IAW Scan to connect.

Other alternatives probably cost more than 150 €

Experiment, a KKL interface (about 10 €)
IAW Scan should then scan capabilities are a connection.

Hello Stapy

Is this your car?

Fiat
Punto '03
1.2 16V

Then you can with the KKL interface in your link to the ECU, ABS and airbags to connect.
But not on the steering!

With the ELM 327 interface: you can not establish connections only if you
a resistor on the board removing you to steering panel, CAN setup, and air access.

Here at this interface, the connection works directly.
Give the seller a greeting from me (Eddy) and the interface you
Multiecuscan want to use.

It`s the same of your Link

And this one

IAW ECU scan should work with your 16F ECU.
Software is free and you only need KKL interface (and maybe 3 pin connector).
See this website: http://iaw-scan2.sourceforge.net/
All infos you have there. Creator of that software is tzok - also member of this forum... ;)

Hello

It is still very difficult to follow the traces on the board.
And me still missing 0062.jpg a picture of the opposite side of the image Dsc

But I suspect that the resistor (121) the problem
But I'm not sure because I can not see the tracks exactly.

Thank you for your effort.

EDIT: removing resistor marked (121) did the trick. I just popped it off using a very sharp hobby knife.
