Hello

Without details what problem you have, it is difficult to help??
What mistakes did you connect?
What kind of vehicle?
Control?

You have set a lot of pictures, but only a few are important!
This interface should not have CAN bus error.
Other errors are often made to the settings

Hello

The Suzuki SX4 has no CAN bus!
This is because you can not see in the Supported Vehicle List
all controls are to read with the KKL interface!

So I think you have a mistake in the settings!
Which driver do you have installed?
Is the com port setting?
Latency was the time set to 1?

For ABS and steering you need adapters!
And the air bag you can not read this ELM
this you need a KKL interface

Then the list of Yani be wrong?

Greetings Eddy

edit:

Anyway your ELM interface has no resistor to the Multiecuscan the CAN bus protocol makes.

Guys
In the Suzuky that it is listed in MultiEcuScan I saw just this controler which can be CAN BUS
SX4
2.0 DDiS Bosch EDC16C39 CF5/EOBD Diesel Injection (2.0 16V)
The others aren't on CAN
Even that car for sure has CAN BUS it is not listed or maybe I can say it is not coveraged it yet by the Multiecuscan
So please you don't need to make any modification in your tool.
I suppose it is working fine in CAN BUS but you have no coverage for your car for now yet
Good luck

Hello,

I have an ELM327 adapter with USB cable taken 2 weeks ago from www.amazon.de as shown layouts in 5 pictures provided as attachments.
As owner of: "Fiat Croma 2.4JTD with DPF, year:2005" wanted to use/test free edition of EcuScan but unfortunately is not working saying that:
"CONNECTION FAILED, ELM327 -> ECU Connection Failed ! Check your cable and serial port settings"

I searched this forum posts for this topic and I believe that from your experience I will get solution.

I have been installed software for Virtual COM port (VCP) drivers on Windows XP with following settings:
Bits per second: 38.400 with latency = 1, also set 38.400 bauds with latency 16, the results is same.
When I use "TEST" button with reply for all commands=OK ELM327 v1.5 and at the end the output log says:
"This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules"

When I use "SCAN" button I found error such that:
Errors found: U1602 - CAN Data Bus

As a feedback, what I realized from previous posts, my PCB circuit layout label is quite different with label: "OBD-USB vers1.0" but not as yours: "ELM327-USB". Is this a problem or is a standard problem solution with circuit resistors, capacity etc ? Or any other correct settings on EcuScan or USB-Serial driver ? What should I modify correct on PCB layout or SW settings ?

I will be very appreciate for any help from you to get a solution.

Regards.

Hello Stefan

Can connect to the ECU your Croma you should without any modifications.
The problem is that with some Multiecuscan ELM interface affects only the CAN Bus Protocol
and the ECU with your Croma is read with KWP2000 not CAN Bus
I do not think your settings are correct! ?
Which driver do you have installed?

Your picture is bad, you would have to do from the other side, so you can hardly see anything. Or directly from above
So you can hardly see anything, the importance of the bus bar and the chip MCP2551 has seen

Guys
As I understand this tool dosen't work on CAN BUS
I very thanksfull if one of you can make a test on a car on k-line ( Engine for instance ) using of course MultiEcuscan
Because i don't belive that the MCU it is ELM327 a cloned ELM327
I just make supposition what is it but I not pretty sure.
And I suppose that if you try on K-line will dosen't work ( I have feeling )
I'm waiting your tests
Good luck

P.S> if the tool cannot connecting on cars on K-line controlers ( just install the drivers and nothing more ) this measn that this tool it is not real an ELM clones and I suppose that it is not coveraged by the Multiecuscan
