Hello

Nice that it works now. :-)

Why your first ELM does not work I can not say.
But I've had at least 15 different ELM interface from all over the world
All of them have worked so far, either immediately or after removing a resistor either R04 or R14 depending on the interface

Have fun with your interface and Multiecuscan

Hello

The connection to your control you've made.
Therefore is not your problem, the ELM interface but another
probably a faulty control or the connection is missing then the
the proxy can not be executed.

Because you've got a connection

Hello to everyone . I read all the messages but I can't find a fix to my problem ... Multiecuscan (and multiecuscan) can't see my ELM , I can not find it .I have the ELM on COM 5 but when I search it with multiecuscan the only thing I find is my modem ?!?!? on COM 7 . I have a fiat croma diesel from 2005 and the ELM works , I tested with another software ( i don't know if i can say the name here ...PPSCAN) Thank you

Hello

This interface we described here many times.
It does not have the abusive resistor

Have you ever loaded the new FTDI driver

Hello

The fax modem on port 7 is an error your ELM is not recognized correctly.
And thus it makes Windows a fax modem

The drivers you have installed
- The interface to register once on a different COM port
- Ask the latency time to 1 (instead of 16)
- In the ELM Multiecuscan sign on your amended COM port? to
- Plug your interface into the OBD socket
- Switch on the dashboard lights
- Press F10 Connect
