Fiat Panda 2012

Post by Boris »

Yani, when do you plan to add support for Panda 2012? Does it have similar systems like Fiat 500 (I suppose I will be able to connect with adapter cable for Fiat 500/Mito/Giulietta?).

Yes, it has similar systems as Fiat 500. You need the yellow adapter to connect to the rest of the control modules.
You should at least be able to read the error codes from each module by selecting Fiat 500.

OK. I have tried, and I am able to connect with adapter 3 to the rest of the modules (with wrong ISO), and I could read errors (no errors, it is a brand new car :-) ) and sensors.

When you start working to give full support for Panda, If you need testing, let me know.

BTW when working with adapter 3 I have found some bugs.
You say
"DO NOT USE MODIFIED INTERFACES WITH SHORT CIRCUIT BETWEEN PINS 1 AND 9 ON GRANDE PUNTO, PUNTO EVO, 500, DOBLO(152), DOBLO(263), ALFA MITO, GIULIETTA, YPSILON 2011"
On http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx I have found that adapter 1 instead od adapter 3 is recomended for Xenons for Fiat 500, and when I make test connect to xenon in Mito and Fiat 500, program asks to use adapter 1. I did not check what it asks for other cars (Punto, Doblo..)
In adapter 1 pins 1 and 9 are short connected....

One more question.
How system for keys works in Fiat 500/Panda?
When you make full support for it will it be possible to add more remote controls (not made for that exact car - Panda came with only one remote, and one normal key)
