Allied MY97 Airbag (2F-2P-2L-I-S) Intermittent/Present 120

Post by cartmoe »

Hey and Hello, at first I have to say thanks a lot for this amazing piece of software multiecuscan/MultiEcuScan.
It works great for everything I had to use it so far on my car...

I own an Alfa 156 2.0 TS and what drives me crazy besides the rost is the Airbag.
After my Airbag lamp was showing up, the reason was the passenger seat, I was able to handle the error deletion with the help of a modified KKL interface. So far so good.
But since my aunt moved the seat once really hard to the front, it got the error again and I was able to delete it again. But by that occasion the interface showed an Error, that is not specific to me:

The CU is Allied MY97 Airbag (2F-2P-2L-I-S)

The error has the number 120

The state seems intermittent/present.
But I think the Cu is fine, cause it reacts for everything I've tried, like check the stats and controls...
Is there some more information about that issue available?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Can you give full name of the error and please give us all details frm bellow.
Should be something like this:
1: 21 - driver's side air bag
The cause for this error is too high a value
Current fault condition is occasionally
Error counter value is 190

How often does error appear on dashboard?

Hello and sorry for late reply.
Had to do a lot of stuff lately and did not came back to the car issue hence...
But many thanks for the answer!!!

Unfortunately there are no more informations from the software (MultiEcuScan 1.0) available.
So the error code 120 and the intermittent state is everything I've got.
Btw. the passanger seat cable stuff was fixed and the other error did not occur since then.

I'll go and check for the driver's seat cables as well and then let you know if it helped...
Think I'll give the R1.1 as well a try...otherwise I have to tackle the issue at the Airbag CU explicitly.
But this can take a while, cause I'm still swamped with work.

Cheers
Marko
