@ stilo1.6

In your interface, it is the same resistor (R04) directly to the plug pins
(121) marked
Remove these and you're this interface CAN bus compatible

This you have now indeed been recognized :-)

@ all

This distance helps only for connections in the CAN bus protocol to other protocols, this is not the problem.
Since it is probably in the settings.

Hi.

Can anybody help me please... I have ELM327 (see attached pictures) but I can not access service interval reset on Fiat cars. It is obvious that CAN is not working on this Chinese peace of crap so please advise me what should i solder/unsolder in order to make my ELM327 work. I read previous post in this tread and I see some other members have the same/similar pcb layout as mine but I was not able to find the answer to the problem. Thanks.

ELM C19 = ELM 327 v1.3+ interface with ADAPTER CABLE 3 (or modified interface with CAN lines connected to pins 1 and 9 instead of 6 and 14)

Are you using the right cable (yellow, A3, see
http://www.multiecuscan.net/images/OBDAdapter3.png

I have the same ELM and its works without modification

Hello

ELM with this interface is to produce absolutely no CAN bus connection?
Which Fiat model you are trying to connect?

Otherwise, it's like Krg writes, perhaps you do not have the correct adapter cable

I am trying to connect to Fiat Stilo 1.9JTD 2002. In the support vehicle list it is clearly stated: Service Interval Reset |INFO|ADJ| ELM OBDKey which means that i do not need an adapter cable in order to perform this function. Why it won't work???

Hello

That's right for your Stilo You'll need an adapter cable to read the CAN bus data.

Do not hesitate again a picture of the connector strip I suspect the resistance at the same place as in the picture of Spagno

Hi Alfaeddy,

Thank you for your reply but I just don't understand from your post what am I supposed to do? Do I need to remove something from PCB?

Thanks.
