Fiat Coupe Timeout-Error

Post by lars1337 »

Hi I can't connect to my Fiat Coupe 1998.

I have bought a OBD2-Adapter and a 3pin Adapter.
Autodia E327 CAN-Bus OBD OBD2 EOBD Interface Diagnose
http://www.ebay.de/itm/260754573911?ssP ... 1497.l2649

When i connect my car with the adapters, the multiecuscan shwos a timeout-error.

The Test Interface Connection responeses ok on all commands.

Thanks for your help.

Hello Lars

What is your engine management Coupe?
For the Motronic M 2.10.4 only with a
KKL OBDkey be read or

If your coupe but has the Hitachi or M3.1
is it a setting error

This interface (E327) to function.
When ordering Tung must be given but you can use it with the FES
would like
Otherwise, do not work in the CAN bus protocol
It plays on your coupe but not matter, because nothing is read by CAN.

Hi this is my model:

FIAT
COUPE' '98
1.8 16V Hitachi MPI Injection (eng. 1.8 16V '98) |INFO|DTC|PRM|ACT| KLELMOBDKey 3-Pin.

You say my engine management doesn't support the E237 adapter?
So I must buy another adapter?

Hello Lars

After giving your model the ELM should work fine

So I guess the settings are incorrect.
If the ELM as correctly identified in the Control Panel?
Have you in FES / settings set as well as the ELM interface?

This ELM you should come to your motor control.
For ABS and airbags you'd need a KKL interface

I myself have had the same ELM interface and so far no connection problems with it.
