I have Fiat 500X 1.4L 2015 manual
Connected with bluetooth ELM327 to laptop with windows 7
I have these error codes:
U0010-88 - B-CAN line - Bus OFF
U0101-88 - C2-CAN - BUS OFF
U1736-87 - Convergence Telematic Node (NCV) - Missing message
Is this because I have an aftermarket head unit installed and not the original?

Probably.
Does the head unit you have installed have CAN Bus connections?

Thanks @s130 you seem to be the main person who responds on this forum. I swapped in the original connect 5" head unit and one of these errors went away. I was also able to reset neutral and clutch position which I wasn't able to do with the aftermarket stereo. Aftermarket head unit back in... I miss the larger display and satnav. Guess if I need to take car to dealership for service will need to plug in the original.

Actually there are others here who respond much more often and with greater technical knowledge especially when it comes to doing custom proxi settings.
I assume when you put the old head unit back in you removed the additional HiWorld control box you had?
I would have thought that with the original head unit installed then all of the errors should have gone away.
What errors were you left with?

U0101-88 - C2-CAN - BUS OFF error went away.
