Odometer flashing android radio

Hi guys,

The problem I have is that I installed an aftermarket radio because the car came without one (theft) and since then the mileage is flashing. I have a new TFT screen, upped the mileage to the correct amount and did a proxy alignment. It fails due to an ETM error (radio). If I disconnect the radio it's alright but the moment I connect the radio it starts flashing. Any clue on how to fix this?

somehow car doesn't like your android radio CAN connection and detects it as new node hence blinking odo.

try asking seller. also usually radio under factory settings should have CAN bus settings for different cars. a lot of info can be found on android radios on 4pda or xda-developers forums.
but start with seller.

Correct, mine is at 'Jeep_cherokee/renegade&FiatAegea(Simple);. Will contact seller see what he says, if anyone knows other canbus settings that I could try for the simple canbus let me know.

You have to set your radio type to type 1 and run proxialignment procedure... Your car set will be now on instrument cluster display...
Byte 111 set to 01
