Alfa 147 2.0TS 2003 ABS problem

I have ELM 327 1.3 (clone ELM) with DIP switch to connect to 1 or 3 or 7 or 9 separately.
Car is Alfa 147 2.0 TS 2003 manual gearbox, with VDC, and working normally, no errors.
I used multiecuscan 2.1 free.

When I used pin 7 to connect to ECU it works with no problem, but when I used pin 1 to connect to ABS (for testing) I first tried to connect to Bosch ABS 8 VDC, and received error "wrong ISO, do you want to connect..". I pressed N. In the same time display on the car start beeping and blinking with ABS and VDC errors.

Is this normal?

After this, I tried to connect to Bosch ABS 5.7 VDC, and connection was OK, but car again start beeping and blinking with ABS and VDC error????
Is this OK?

Using functions on FES I found that one ABS error is present: some kind of connection error to ABS system.
Is this error in any way related to my first unsuccesfull connection to Bosch ABS 8 VDC?
Should I reset/delete this error?

Thanks

It works exactly the same on mine. ABS 8 is only available on "newer" cars... I think from 2007 onwards.
You should use 5.7 as this is the right one. The beeping and blinking of ABS and VDC is normal I guess. Happens on all cars I tried. And never had any problems related to that.

OK
But what about ABS connection error I have found when connected as Bosch ABS 5.7?
It seems that this error is created when I have unsuccesfully tried to connect as Bosch ABS 8.
This looks as a bug?!

I will try to clear this error, and to see what happens.

I have tried connecting with ABS 8 on mine, and there was no problem afterwards... I doubt that this is the problem.

Try clearing the errors...

I have cleared error connected as Bosch ABS 5.7, then tried to connect as Bosch ABS 8, then connect again as Bosch ABS 5.7, and there is no error again.
It seemes that error is not a bug and it is not related to connection as Bosch ABS 8.
Maybe it was related to errors that I had when batterry was low.
These cars give lots of ABS/VDC errors when battery is low/half empty, especially during cold winter mornings, it is a common situation.
