Simple question from someone who is new to this product.
P2299-62 - Accelerator/brake coherency
P2299 = Accelerator/brake coherency
What does -62 mean? I see hyphen plus number following all error codes. I am hoping this is the number of times this error has appeared.

No I don't think the - number is related to the number of occurrences.
on the 500X for example you can have:
5_Manual\Diagnostics_For_DTC\BCM12_Body_Control_Module(DELPHI)\ --> Day time Running and Parking Light Left - Circuit short to battery or open B1022 -15
5_Manual\Diagnostics_For_DTC\BCM12_Body_Control_Module(DELPHI)\ --> Day time Running and Parking Light Left - Circuit current above threshold B1022 -19
5_Manual\Diagnostics_For_DTC\BCM12_Body_Control_Module(DELPHI)\ --> Day time Running and Parking Light Right - Circuit short to battery or open B1023 -15
5_Manual\Diagnostics_For_DTC\BCM12_Body_Control_Module(DELPHI)\ --> Day time Running and Parking Light Right - Circuit current above threshold B1023 -19
Looking at others it suggests that instead of say:
B1022 - Left light failure
which could be short circuit, open circuit, excessive load, etc. then instead of using more primary code numbers the primary is now being suffixed by a dash number.
All the -19 for the 500X relate to Circuit current above threshold for any unit.
All the -62 say Signal compare failure for any unit

Thank you for such an excellent explanation, now I understand. Thanks
