Hi,

You don't need to bridge pins for Engine, Gearbox or any CAN ECU.
If you want to connect to ABS you have to bridge pins 1 and 7. If you want to connect to TRW EPS you have to bridge pins 9 and 7. Or, you can simply bridge 1-7-9.

Hi,

Unfortunately, ver 2.0 is not related to the version of the ELM 327 chip.
If you can connect to the serial port with a terminal application (Windows Hyperterminal can do it), and send command ATZ to your ELM interface it will return
a message saying "ELM 327 1.xx...". This is the real version of your interface.

My ELM COM interface is V1.0.......
I buy a ELM USB V1.3 interface who works realy good and 3 pins to OBD adapter.
Can I use the 3 pins adapter with the ELM briged pins??

Hi,

I change my ELM 327 and connect pins 1, 7 and 9. What bothers me is that the photo of the tutorial "How to USE" I have the impression that the pins were 1,7 and 11 which are linked together.

Thank you for helping me and sorry for my English.

You need to connect 1,7 and 9.
The photo actually shows only a connection between 1 and 7.
