Airbag module(giulia) Stages

Hi, Is there any way to enable/disable airbag stages? EU version has a single stage but US dual-stage. If we use a US car on the EU market we should use a single-stage airbag. Is it possible somehow to control it? How can we get a whole list of commands for Giulia's airbag module?

Somehow I doubt US car's airbags stop working when car comes to EU because of different number of stages on them. Just put proper airbag. There are much more differences - different airbag ECU, different seat belts, different number of crash sensors.
And to be accurate until 2020 US uses tri-stage airbags, after 2020 - dual-stage

Do you mean that it is mandatory by law to use a single-stage airbag in the EU?

more like he doesn't want to buy US airbag as they are expensive new, and very few used ones. and plenty of used EU version airbags on market.
