Dear Forum members !
I kindly ask you for help !
I have Fiat Barchetta, car was produced in September 1997, serial number is around 31000. ECU has old adapter, OBD1, 3 pins. Up to now I used adapter 16 pin OBD2 to 3 pin OBD1 and VAG KKL usb cable together with my Dell laptop Windows based and Multiecuscan program. I never had any problem to connect to my Barchetta's ECU and I could scan all the parameters.
Recently I bought from Ebay Multiecuscan store ELM 327 Wi-Fi for IOS. I tried to use it with my IPAD Air 2 and free Multiecuscan from Apple store, but I was not able to establish the connection between Barchetta's ECU and my IPAD. Please help me with some additional information! Do you I need some special settings on my IPAD? Why there is a switch on ELM327, switch with 2 positions ? I have no instruction manuals! Do you know if it is possible to connect ELM327 wifi IOS to Windows Multiecusan or not?
Many thanks for your reply in advance.
Best regards
