Hi there,
I have a 2020 Jeep Compass 2.4L 4X4 Middle East spec. I was planing to add the rear backup camera. So, I bought the Multiecuscan software and the OBD2 USB ELM 327 v1.4 and the SMG bypass.
I've done the coding for to enable the backup camera for testing (only software, no hardware changes). and I've done the proxy allightmnent to program the rear view camera. The radio/screen took the change and now I see a black screen when put the gear into reverse.
After the proxy alignment, the ODO was flashing and I couldn't figure out what is the problem. I've disabled the rear backup camera and still the ODO is flashing.
I believe there is something wrong in the Engine ECU alignment. Any thoughts ? Is it because the 2.4L engine is not available in the Multiecuscan options?
Thanks
ODO Flashing

Re: ODO Flashing
Hi,
In gereral when you do some changing with diagnostic equpment (cars with CAN system), the km display will start to flash.
In most cases the proxy aligement will solve this problem.
In worst case scenario you can go to official fiat dealer and it can be done as you had it before...
