I have a somewhat curious problem. Recently I have another (used) odometer built into my Fiat Doblo, built in 2002, 1.9JTD. Now I am trying to FORWARD my mileage from 185,000 to 454,000. But that is refused. I get a 'programming error'. A mileage up to 399,999 is accepted, but after that the odometer stops. So it does not go through to the 400,000 km. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this?

Thanks you. I didn't know. Almost a bit strange that it stops at 399,999 because the car can definitely last longer.
