ELM327->ECU connection failed - timeout

Hello,

I have Giulia QV 2017 model.

i have problem with my Multiecuscan 4.5. I have bought original ELM327 cable with blue and grey adapters. I have done seatbelts deactivation, i have done proxy aligment, i have done logistic mode, service reset at oil and filter change... etc. Worked like charm.

But only when i connect to Gearbox modules:
ZF 8HP50/75 Automatic Gearbox
ZF Electronic Gear Shift Module

I will always get error ELM327->ECU connection failed - timeout. Cannot do any adjustments there.

Does anybody have experience with this issue and how to resolve it? Should i do something about cam speed or so? I tried to test connect with lower or higher speed than 38400 but none others worked. Also i treid to put latency to 1 or 10 or 40 no difference.

Looking forward to your advice,

I am using this ELM327 interface: https://www.multiecuscan.it/it/elm-327-v-1.4-modificata-per-multiecuscan-con-software-free/

ciao,
have you tried to set it in MES Settings as high-speed ELM interface?

don't think there are any adjustments in those modules.
and what about running "SCAN" or "SCAN DTC" from main window, does it connect to gearbox and knob and show any errors?

yes scan DTC worked. Error found and sucessfully cleared. But cannot connect to module to make adjustment. Should i consider bug in software?

Scan vehicle for available modules and check each module for errors...

Honestly i would like to reset TVM module because differential and both electro motors were replaced.

Dashboard says "Service ATV" because they need to be paired with module. Battery diasconnect and prroxy aligment would not solve error because they need to be paired. I know witech can do it but i like to use my Mes !

TVM and CDCM modules you see are neither gearbox nor gearshift knob. and at the moment you can't connect to them with MES.
gearbox and gear shifter are as you wrote in #1 post ZF 8HP50/75 Automatic Gearbox and ZF Electronic Gear Shift Module but with 4.5 you can connect to them no problem. just did this other day on two Giulias. If you can't see them in your SCAN then either something wrong with you car or ELM.

For the adjustments you want to do Witech is your thing.

I've bought it long time ago so can't provide any link. It's ELM v1.3,I think Prolific based
