Hello Yani,

I'm now a user of your program, wich is very usefull and well produced.

I would like to know if you can implement a new feature for the owners of FIAT Bravo/Brava models?

In the FIAT Bravo/Brava's technical spécifications, it's mentionned that after 1998, all the models are equiped with an ABS from BOSCH model 5.3, instead of the TEVES MK 20 mounted on the previous models. I saw effectively a BOSCH 5.3 ABS on my car (FIAT BRAVA 1.9 TD 100).

I noticed some other FIAT models are equiped with the same BOSCH 5.3 ABS and that your software can perform a diagnose to it.

Is it possible to implement the same diagnose fonction for the FIAT Bravo/Brava models?

Thank you from France :-)

If you need some data about this ABS, ask me i will do my best to collect it for you.
I 'm already in possession of the interface and i have already performed a successfull diagnose on airbags with it and your software ^^

Hi Flo13,
I'm not sure that i can catch your question.
Bosch ABS 5.3 support was implemented in multiecuscan version 2.0

So you can connect to ABS ECU even if it's not listed under your car.
Just select car which have this ECU supported.

I will ask Yani to update your Bravo model with ABS support.

attached is a list with cars ecquiped with ABS 5.3 ( provided by Yani ) and Bravo is not here :)

Hello, thanks for the answer!

Yes I tried to connecting with the Bosch ABS ECU by selecting some another cars, but it didnt work.

The interface connection was good, because I saw the led blinking when I was trying to call the ECU.

I will soon perform an Unidiag test and post the results here to facilitate the implement for Yani

I have done a KWP71diag.

here are the informations from the abs ECU :
Does anyone here knows what the DTC means?

Are the informations usefull to implement the abs on bravo/brava models?

Hi,

I'm almost sure that your ABS is not Bosch ABS 5.3.
I think it is probably ABS Teves MK20/MK70.
However, I don't have any idea about those error codes.
It is possible that KWP71 did not read the codes properly.

Correct DTCs for ABS5.3 are:

X=0x05 Valve relay
X=0x06 Incorrect number of teeth on phonic wheel
X=0x08 Front LH speed sensor not feasible.
X=0x09 Front LH speed sensor in O.C.
X=0x0A Front RH speed sensor not feasible.
X=0x0B Front RH speed sensor in O.C.
X=0x0C Rear LH speed sensor not feasible.
X=0x0D Rear LH speed sensor in O.C.
X=0x0E Rear RH speed sensor not feasible.
X=0x0F Rear RH speed sensor in O.C.
X=0x10 Battery voltage

i have just used ecuscan for the abs on my bravo 155 hgt.
It comes up whith a few faults, hope you know what i need to do:

Front right wheel sensor in o.c.
Signal on front right wheel
Incoherent speed on rear right and left wheel.

Is it possible that there is a cut in the wire or something? The light comes on occasionally, and never on the same time.
Sometimes if i shut the engine and then put it back on the light dissapears.

For the last fault, that probebly has something to do with my rims, that are just a little bigger than standard.

Hope you can help me.
