I have a fiat 500x from 2017. I changed the oem radio for an Android radio from joying. Now the mileage indicator always flashes. I read in the forums that a proxy alligment should help here, but it fails.

The wired adapter elm is from electronic-fuchs.de including adapter 5 and 6.

The connection has no errors. But the proxy fails and the kilometer display still flashes.

What can I do?

I'm not saying that this is your issue but but it may be due to your ELMs link speed and buffering.

I had an issue (some time ago) where Yani confirmed that 500X/Renegade vehicles had an issues with Proxi.

Originally ELM devices ran at a fixed speed too slow for Proxi on 500X/Renegade. However OBDLINK was faster "out of the box". I worked with Yani and tried OBDLINK and all was OK. Then Yani sent me some test code that would switch some/new ELM devices to a higher operating speed. This worked OK for me.

My suggestion is that you select the highest ELM operating speed offered in the MES settings.

Yes that is the one, as long as it is a genuine OBDLink unit, which I think it is. You can double check on the OBDLink website.
