No signal from Cruise Control to ECU after remapping?

Hello all, I have a licensed version of MES and a proper working ELM327 interface. Sinds I have my car remapped for some extra HP in combination with disabling the DPF, my CC stopped working at all. No message on the display when switching to on, no light, no response at all.
Because the remap was a standard remap for the same engine I have, I suspect that the car originaly used to remap, didn,t had CC enabled/activated in the ECU and or Body Computer. So I bought a license of MES and a good ELM327 interface to check that.

I checked the body computer and "cruise control (from 2009)" and "cruise control (until 2009)" where both enabled. Then I checked my ECU and all the clutch and brake switches are working properly (I can see it pressed and released live in MES).
But when I pressed some buttons on the CC, there was nop response in the ECU (no pressed, released, on/off, etc.). Can CC be totaly writen out of the ECU, so it won't ever respond to the stalk even it is enabled in the body computer, can there be a fuse blown (I have no error messages when diagnosing the car with MES) or can we broke a cable when we removed the battery connection and if it can, what cable to look for?

I can do a proxi alligment in MES to be shure every module is communicating well with eachother, but I am a little worried about the note in MES that says something about the country alarm mode and indicators command being set to factory defaults after executing the proxi allignment and the need of the 5 digit security code of the car, which I don't have. What is the worst that could happen if I don't have the code, but do execute the proxi allignment? And what about the disabled DPF, can I mess that up to (there is no DPF any more)?

Apart from the CC, the car runs and functions perfectly.

Vehicle:
Fiat Punto 1.3 Multijet 2012 (type 199) DPF removed and disabled, EGR closed and disabled
ECU: Marelli 8F3 CF5/CF5+/EOBD Diesel Injection (1.3)
Dashboard: Concvergence Lauberhorn (Blue & Me)

I hope you can help me out.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, could you solve the problem? The same happens to me, but with the Fiat Argo 1.8 (same bcm as renegade 1.8). I installed cruise control buttons, enable the option with the MES, proxy alignment ok, but the button lights do not turn on

No succes yet.

In the Body Computer, the Cruise Control is enabled, both versions like I mentioned previously. I can see that my brake and clutch switches are working and that the ECU picks them up. When fiddeling with the stalk, the ECU does not register any input from the stalk.

I want to try a PROXI alignment, but the original ECU programming has ben overwritten with software/programming of another car with the same ECU, but with different programming for more horsepower and torque, wich works well. Also my DPF is removed (fysicaly and in the software) and my EGR is permenantly closet by the software. Can I damage the ECU programming by doing a PROXI alignment and do I need the cars security code after an alignment (even if I don't need to change anything with the alarm settings)?

The last resort I have after a PROXI alignment, is to reset the "self-learned parameters". Can I damage any programming of the ECU with that?

Main question is: Can I (permenantly) damage the ECU when perfomring those actions or do I have any other options to get the Cruise Control to work, apart from installing the original software/programming again, wich I rather don't want to do?

old thread, not sure why no one replied
imho PROXI alignment shall not interfere or damage the ECU, even remapped. PROXI alignment is just that the ECUS will communicate with each other on the CAN internally if they exists, possibly what is their identification etc
I suggest you should try to find out, which of the MOD does corrupt the cruise control. if the EGR or DPF off. I have read somewhere that it is usually the DP'F off mod that corrupts the cruise but not sure if also on your engine.
