All adjustments fail to execute

I purchased Multiscan ECU today and was able to connect it to my wifi ELM327 relatively easily.
I was able to connect to the various ECUs handy enough, and most of the read values, with the exception of the temperature sensors (which read 0, 0, and -40 on a 12* day) were fine.
However, in each case I tried to execute a write-operation using F10 Execute, it failed to execute.
The functions I tried to execute were:
Next Service KM reset
Days till next service
Distance till next service
Oil change (only for versions with a DPF) - and I have a DPF
Even basic tests like enabling the Cruise control or Oil pressure indicator failed.
I have a 2009 Alfa Romeo 159 2.4 TI (210).
